How This Works
Most people who love the Bible know this feeling: you read the chapter, you underline something good, and by Tuesday nothing about your actual life has moved. Seek Ye First is built for that gap. Instead of counting chapters or minutes, it works through six areas you already govern — Mind & Body, Household, Work & Vocation, Money, Relationships, Influence — and asks one question of each: what does God’s rule actually look like here? You answer one question a day and write what you see. After a year you have a record of how your life actually changed, not a streak you managed to keep.
Jesus said to seek the kingdom first. Everything built for Bible readers helps you read more. Almost nothing helps you order your life around what you read. That gap is the whole reason this exists.

A citizen governs territory. This app names six: Mind & Body, Household, Work & Vocation, Money, Relationships, and Influence. Each is a place in your actual life where the King's rule either shows or doesn't.
Every territory carries the same King's Question — "What does the King's rule look like here?" — and a small constitution of verses that govern it. You write your own answer, in your own words, as often as you like.
Everything you write lands in one place, filed by the territory it belongs to. The Journal is not a diary you have to maintain — it simply collects what you've already written, so you can search it, read it back, and export it whenever you want.
Nothing you remove disappears at once. Removed entries are kept for thirty days before they're gone for good, in case a second thought arrives.
The reader holds the whole King James Bible. Tap a word for its meaning; tap the verse number for the whole verse and its actions — highlight it, bookmark it, or file it under a territory you govern.
Filing a verse under a territory doesn't move or alter the verse. It only marks, for you, which ground that word is meant to govern.
A petition is a request you file, anchored to the Scripture it stands on, with a record of what came of it. A decree is a standing order — one rule you set for a territory, anchored to a verse, that isn't a habit to score but a law you've agreed to live under.
An assize is a quiet review of one territory: what came under his rule, what did not, and one thing to bring before Him next. It also sets each standing order you have made on that ground before you and asks, in plain words, what happened with it. You answer in your own words, or not at all. It is a review, never a scoreboard.
Every video the ministry makes stays free on YouTube, unpaywalled. Inside the app, the whole King James Bible — reading, search, highlighting, bookmarking, word study, offline — is free forever, along with the daily question, your consistency record, two territories of your choosing, and full export of everything you write, in Markdown and JSON, any time.
Full Access, for $12 a month or $89 a year, opens the other four territories, lets you file highlighted verses to any territory, and adds Petitions, Decrees, and the Assize. It also lets you ask up to three people to stand with you as accountability partners. Being asked costs nothing: an invited person can accept, see what their partner has chosen to show them, and share their own items back, on a free account. Nothing you've already written is ever held back from you — export is always full, on either plan.
Your entries are private. They are yours. You can export all of them at any time, in a format you can keep. They are never sold, and they are never used to train anything.
